Pinewood Hotel Rome

Renovated in 2006, this air-conditioned hotel is the ideal base for both business and leisure travellers to the city, offering a peaceful, familial ambience. A total of 80 rooms are available over 7 floors, including 10 elegant suites. Excellent panoramic views over the Sacchetti pine forest may be enjoyed from the hotel, and facilities include a 24-hour reception desk with a safe, currency exchange facility and lift, a café and a bar. It is possible to make use of the room and laundry services as well as take advantage of the medical assistance. Those arriving by car may make use of the hotel parking. Upon request, a limousine transfer service from/to the airport is also available (charges apply).

Remark

There is a limousine service on request(addtional cost) to/from the airport. For all bookings with the period of stay from 1 January 2011 onwards, a city tax of euro 3,00 per person per night is to be paid by the guest directly at the hotel and it is not included in the room rate.

How To Go

From Fiumicino Airport: take the train from the Airport Terminal to Termini Station (about 20 minutes) and then take the Metro A towards Battistini and get off at Cornelia station (exit Largo Boccea), then either walk for about 10 minutes towards Via della Pineta Sacchetti (the hotel is on the left-hand side), or catch one of the following buses 49 - 446 - 994 (from Via Tardini) for two stops and get off just in front of the hotel. By car: From the ring road G.R.A. take exit number 1 Roma Aurelio, towards the city centre S.Peter/Città del Vaticano, follow the Via Aurelia until P.zza Irnerio (where it is necessary to follow the signs for Via della Pineta Sacchetti), turn right and then cross left in Circonvallazione Cornelia. Go ahead for about 800 m towards Via della Pineta Sacchetti and when the Sacchetti Pinewood is visible you have arrived: the hotel is on the left side.
